This will sound stupid but could the installer window (I mean the one where we can choose individual components) be bigger or resizeable? (I'm talking about K-Lite Codec Pack full/mega specifically)

That is not possible.

I know that it is already rejected but i think it is a good and bad idea at the same time.

The bad idea is that resizing windows can be annoying. The good idea is being able to see more components when selecting the list. I believe there should be a way to show more stuff at the same time. Or is it possible to just increase the size of the setup window by a certain portion (but still unresizeble)? Of course, not too big of a window neither, because if it is too big then it is annoying too.

The installation software that is being used doesn't have the ability to resize the window. Changing the standard size of the installer window might be possible with some tricks, but I don't think that will be done.
