some clips were download and mpc showed it coudn't read the sound format. my question is how to find out the sound format. why K-Lite Mega Codec Pack can play the clips but no sound? people say that K-Lite Mega Codec Pack supports popular formats, right?

Open the file with the MediaInfo tool and post that information here. Without information I can not help you.

Does not VQF (TwinVQ) supported in KLite or ffdshow? How to get this filter?

I don't know any DirectShow filter that supports that format.
