QT Lite is not so lite....

First , i wish to sincerely thanks you for your wonderfull packs, i use them in every installation i made and recomend the klcp everywhere.

QT Lite is nearly 17 megs now.....
Can you (please!) make a version without vc++2005 runtimes, it will already save a few mb!
Theses runtimes are already installed in many cases by many other apps.

Many people do need the runtime. Making another version is not something that is going to happen, just to save ~3 MB.

Yes, but they are not up to date! I use a addon wicvh install every MS runtimes in their latest versions, so installing the redistribuable (with older files) after is pure nonsense.
So, can you provide a way to remove them to the installer ?

There already is a checkbox in the installer for the runtime. Uncheck it and it won't be installed.

i believed that the default options were enough for qtlite, and i missed the option to (not) install the runtimes; but i always use -makeunattended switch for klmcp.

if you use 7zip instead of winrar to make the sfx archive you can hide the cmd window with this comment:
Code: Select all
;!@Install@!UTF-8!
RunProgram="hidcon:klmcp.cmd"
GUIMode="2"
;!@InstallEnd@!
