HI, I have a problem, when I use Snagit, the option capture video, I capture video from wmp, only appears a black screen(and cursor) on the snagit's video. The same problem with media player.

On the other hand when I use divx player, I see the complete and real part of the video in the snagit's file.


I used to record videos from my screen.I always use snagit y wmp, but i have a problem maybe with the configuration of klite.

I use klitecodec standard; mega pack have problems with brightness in wmp

Both problems are related to the video renderer that is used. Capturing from screen with Overlay renderer will result in a black screen.

Changing the video renderer should solve the problems.

hi my friend, thanks for the support, but I have another question, How to change the video renderer type? In ffdshow video, there is an option?.

Media Player Classic:
Options -> Playback -> Output

Windows Media Player:
Tools -> Options -> performance -> Advanced

In WMP, uncheck "usar superposiciones" (="use overlays" in English).

In MPC, select VMR-9 (renderless) or Haali. Haali renderer is recommended, but doesn't work with DVDs.
