OK, to support that. I posted this issue in Mozilla's Seamonkey newsgroup and one replied the same crashes with the latest official QuickTime version. Here's more interesting thing. He said SM v1.1.17 doesn't have this problem.

I need to find QuickTime's forum.

Don't bother posting on the QuickTime forum. There are no developers there that can do anything about the problem.

If SM 1.1.17 works OK, then that supports my theory that the bug in somewhere in SM.

Too late. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jsp ... ID=2201403 ...

I asked in SM newsgroup about what could be causing it between them. Based on http://www.seamonkey-project.org/releas ... key1.1.18/ ... the only changes between v1.1.17 and v1.1.18 is security stuff (SSL).

I got an update for my SM bug report and a comment from Matthias "matti" Versen:

"SM1.X will get only security fixes AFAIK. The error message is from the plugin itself and not from Gecko and the crash is a cause of the plugin malfunction."

So it looks like Apple needs to fix it. No new replies from Apple so far, and I doubt I will get any like you said. :(

Mozilla's SeaMonkey closed my issue since they say it is Apple's fault. Looks like I am stuck with QTA/L v2.9.2 and QT v7.6.2 for now until SeaMonkey v2.0 final is released (currently RC2 I think).

Does v3.0.1 fix the issue?

Thank you. I am planning to upgrade v2.0 soon. Just haven't had time.

Hi !

I have this problem with Firefox 3.5.5 and QT Lite 3.1.0.
QT Lite 3.0.1 was fine.

Am I the only one ?

I use Windows Vista SP2 (original on a Dell computer).
I never installed Nero and I didn't change a thing in the registry. :?
