Subtitles Timing

On the DirectVobSub "timing" properties page, it says positive integer if late subs, isn't that plain wrong? I mean, they were late, but I had to put a negative (and not a positive) integer to fix it.

Those kind of things sure are confusing!

P.S.: nice release (overall) for the v5.3.0.

It seems to work correctly here? Positive number -> subs are delayed.

Expect more nice improvements in the coming versions ;)

Yes, a positive number delays subs, but isn't MPC saying: "if delayed, then enter positive number?" I don't know whose logic is wrong here but I have this strange impression one of us will run into problems this weekend upon changing the clock for daylight saving time.

I tested with the standalone DirectVobSub. Are you saying the problem is with the internal one in MPC?

That is, "Play > Filters > DirectVobSub > Properties > Timing."
It is the auto-loading version included in the K-Lite Codec Pack.

It's doing what it is supposed to do (delay if positive). But you are right, the comment behind it is wrong.

Yeah, that is what I have been trying to explain.

Thanks God, I thought I was going nuts. :)
