MKV thumbnails broken. 
Tried to set 32- and 64-bit decoders for AVC to FFDShow but it has no effect.
ADDED:
Win7DSFilterTweaker didn't help.
K-Lite x64 reinstallation fixed thumbnail generation.

With latest beta (5.2. MKV thumbnails broken.

Explorer is 64-bit and thus needs the x64 pack.

Just rechecked: Uninstallation and reinstallation of K-Lite 32-bit breaks thumbnails of MKVs.
Latest beta request to uninstall previous one, so situation if fully reproduced.

Uninstall followed by an install works fine here on Vista x64. It should work fine with Windows 7 as well.
A reboot may be necessary for any changes to Explorer behavior to take effect.

With current version can't reproduce - everything works fine.
Didn't try to install previous version.
Does 32bit installer really change thumbnails setting in 64bit OS?

The Haali shell extension on Win XP SP3 work better than windows' one for thumbnail.clsid wrote:But there is someone that is working on compatibility or not?
Next version of Haali Media Splitter will have full Windows 7 and 64-bit compatibility. However, they are going to remove the shell extension (or at least its thumbnail functionality) because it causes too many problems that they can't fix and don't want to fix.
Can you please point me to the discussion of the "removal of the shell extension"?
