MP4 video crash MPC/MP11 when Real Player Alternative are in

Postby bugmenot on Fri Sep 05, 2008 11:27 pm

I tried in many computers this combination (using Vista)

(Using K-Lite + Real Alternative or K-Lite Codec Pack)
When I try to execute some MP4 videos, the player plays fine 1st time and in 2nd time they crash. All next tries crashes the player.

Using K-Lite without real codecs these videos works fine all times.

It's real codecs bug?

*all videos was recorded by an HTC Diamond cellphone

I'm using all default settings

How can I solve that without looses real codecs?

Thanks a lot

The file plays fine here. If the problem only occurs when Real Alternative is installed, then I suspect RA is being used to decode the audio (AMR).

Check if AMR is enabled in ffdshow audio decoder. If not, enable it.
