Does any one know how to split flv file using K-lite codce?

Video editing tasks, including splitting and joining, can not be done using codecs. You need specialized tools for that job.

Avidemux can split flv files.

Thanks for the response. I was curious about K-lite. I have been searching for a specialized tool to split flv file. In all my searches, K-lite kept coming up, and that intrigued me. Any way, l have installed avidemux, pls any help on how to split the flv after opening it?

K-Lite was one of the first packs that enabled FLV playback. Maybe that is why it came up in the search.

In Avidemux, at the left side select COPY for both audio and video. For FORMAT select FLV.

With the slider at the bottom you can make a selection in the video that you want to save. Below the slider there are buttons to mark the beginning en end of your selection.

Finally, just press the Save button.
