PowerDVD MPEG-2 Decoder new Version

CyberLink just launched an update patch just a few days ago. After extracting the files i found out that the file size for the new version and old version of PowerDVD MPEG-2 Decoder were the same. But when i did binary comparison, i found that they were different internally. So i assume that there must have been something changed and updated.

The easiest way to make binary comparisons on a Windows machine is to the command line prompt and type:
fc /b <file1> <file2>

So if you confirm that there are any changes, i hope it would be on the next new version of K-Lite Codec Pack. ^^

Well, PowerDVD 8 was out this month and a new filter is out too.

This filter seems to have less in size implying that probably a better algorithm is used or some redundant code was removed.

Anyway, here is the extracted filter:
