Codec Guide

Can u guys make the new K-lite codec version to work on all of direct show in Windows 7, instead of having to use a third party filter which doesn't support all video types such as "mkv, avi, h264, etc.." I want to make the video playback of all video types look sharper instead of the standard codec from microsoft. So far the K-lite 3 works on "avi, flv, and a few others" but not all.
