MPC-HC crash when using VMR9 as a direct show video.

Postby d2 on Mon Oct 19, 2009 1:00 pm

hi! This is my laptop spec.....

OS : Windows 7 Ultimate
Processor : Centrino Duo 1.66Ghz
Graphic : Intel Graphic Media Accelerator
RAM : 3 GB

I have installed KLite Codec Full Version (v5.2.0) the one with MPC-HC....(using DXVA)

But....... when i wanna play any video files, it will load the video file slowly [slow loading]...
That's why because this MPC-HC are using DXVA.When i changed it to VMR9, the player will crash..... damn....!!!!
By using VMR9, the player will load any video file fast....( i have tested it)

I have use MPC [not Home Cineme version] before (with VMR9, and have never been crashed...... This dxva cause the problem..

But, one thing....

My friend also installed the same version i have installed[MPC-HC (Klite codec 5.2.0)].... But, all gone fine on his laptop.... [player load fast]

I think that, he is using NVIDIA video card..... mine is only intel..

So.... can u fix this problem.....!!!!

Try the MPC-HC update that you can find here:
http://www.codecguide.com/klcp_update.htm

Also see if a newer graphics driver is available. That might fix your problems.

Otherwise you will have to disable the internal DXVA H.264 decoder in MPC-HC options.
