Go to ffdshow video decoder configuration and disable "MJPEG" and "Other MJPEG".

Could you upload a sample file for me? Then I can test why it can't be played by ffdshow.

I've already tried to disable "MJPEG" and "Other MJPEG" but the clip don't work until i remove the new codec...

Yesterday i've recorded a small clip of about 12" but it is 29,3 Mb... how i can send it to you?

Please let me know.

I've also tested the file with GSpot (v.2.70a) ...

Here is what GSpot say:

[CONTAINER]
File Lengt Correct
OpenDML (AVI v2.0)
Video: 29.2 MB (99.50%)
AVI Overhead: 149 KB (0.50%)

[USER DATA / METADATA]
[JUNK] ifpDWc

[VIDEO]
Codec: MJPG Name: Motion JPEG
Status: Codec(s) are Installed
Len: 0:12:480 Frms: 312 kbps: 19633 Qf: 1.775
Pic/s 25.00 Franes/s 25.00

[d]
pic (w x) 768x576
sar: 1.333 (4:3) par: 1.000 (1:1) dar: 1.333 (4:3)

In "Proposed Codec Solution and Tests"
i see that it propose:
1 - (Src)-->>--(A)-->[Avi Splitter]>--(B)-->[ffdshow Video Decoder]>--(C)-->[Video Renderer]
Video Render OK. Use [3] to play.
(but if i play this i see only a black screen...)

2 - (Src)-->>--(A)-->[Avi Splitter]>--(B)-->[MJPEG Decompressor]>--(C)-->[Video Renderer]
Video Render OK. Use [3] to play.
(and if i play this it works!)

3 - (Src)-->>--(A)-->[Avi Splitter]>--(B)-->[ffdshow raw video filter]>--(C)-->[Video Renderer]
Failed to connect Output pin 0x0f466dfc ("Video 0") on Avi Splitter to input pin 0x0ef29b2c ("In") on filter 0x0295e291 ("ffdshow raw video filter"). ConnectDirect() failed. Error: 0x80040207: (unknow)
(naturally this doesn't work!)

As i can understand the problem is with ffdshow Video Decoder...

It works for me if I disable MJPEG in ffdshow video decoder. Then it will start using the MJPEG Decompressor (#2 in your GSpot test).

I've re-installed the K-Lite Codec Pack 3.6.5 Full...
I've disabled MJPEG and OTHER MJPEG
I've restarted the Operating Sistem...

and now my clips works...

i think before it doesn't work because i dont restart the O.S. (and so the FFDShow...)

but i dont understand why FFDshow think that can render the clip if it doesn't work... (and GSpot tell that FFDShow will render the clip Ok but it give a BLACK screen!)

Ok the important think is that now (with your help) i can have K-Lite installed and my clip work!

Thank you very much!
