How to tell the installed version of codec pack?

Postby whybugmewithreg on Wed Jun 18, 2008 9:37 am

Hi!

Is there an easy way to tell which version of the codec pack I have installed on a computer? On the website they have numbers like 3.9.5 but I have not found a corresponding number in the documentation.

So if I don't have perfect memory and remember the exact version number, how do I tell if I need to upgrade?

Run the Codec Tweak Tool. Select the option to generate a log file with 'System Information'. That information includes the KLCP version number that you have installed.

You can also see the version number in the Windows Control Panel at Add/Remove programs.
